Low-α Ray Alumina

Low-α Ray High Purity Alumina / Low-α Ray Single Crystal Alumina

Low-α Ray Alumina is a high-performance ceramic powder material, with the core feature of having an extremely low level of α ray emission (i.e., extremely low content of radioactive elements such as uranium and thorium, usually below 5 ppb), while also possessing advantages such as single and complete crystal phase, adjustable particle size distribution, good thermal conductivity, strong insulation, and high filling rate.

Low-α Ray Alumina is mainly used in the high-end chip packaging process, added as a functional filler to epoxy molding compound, effectively avoiding the signal interference and faults caused by α rays to semiconductor components. It is widely applied in advanced packaging technologies such as high-bandwidth memory (HBM).
